Rest in Peace Smitty

This morning our little feral house cat Smitty passed away in her sleep. Despite being so afraid of humans she couldn't be touched, she had a wonderful personality and always enjoyed the company of the other cats and the rabbits. We hope that now she has the freedom from fear that she so deserves. Live wild and free in the catnip garden, Smitty.

  1. Oh, dear, I'm so sorry that you have lost Smitty. We have a little feral house cat also; she likes the other cats, but she'll never get over being afraid of us.

  7. Oh, so sorry to hear about losing Smitty. I know she had a good life with you. She looks a lot like our Stormy who was with us for 17 years. Peace to all of you.

  8. So sorry to hear about your sweet kitty. It takes a true animal love to open your hearts and home to an animal that can't be touched. I know Smitty know she was loved. Nose bonks from all of us.

  9. I am so sorry to hear about Smitty. It sounds like he was a very happy kitty, even if he was a scaredy cat when it came to people. I'm glad to hear his journey to the bridge was probably relatively painless.

    Will be thinking of you.
