Catthump Day

Fargo demonstrates that cats can be good at self-packing. When I get a suit of chainmail (and another one for the photographer) I will attempt to pack a cat who does not want to be packed.

  1. Self packing is only done by the cat when the cat wants to pack, otherwise it is heresy punishable by scratches.....

  2. Well, you are a brave one for even considering the attempt to pack a cat who does not want to be packed. I have often been accused of attempted suicide when trying to get mine in the carrier to go to the vet. I have never figured out why they will voluntarily waltz in and out of the carrier when I do not need them to get into it. No doubt they read my mind.

  3. I think it would take far more than chain mail to protect you in the event you choose to pack a cat that does not wish to be packed. Didn't you ever see those cartoons where a cat can turn you into sliced meat with one swipe of the claws?

  4. I think Jade's right. I wouldn't chance it.

I do wish I had a Fargo to bury my face in...

  5. We had a cat when we were kids that packed himself in the trunk of the car as we were getting ready to leave on a trip.... I guess you can never really know a cat's mind.
